ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Brian Brooks and I run Briason B Photography, based in New Jersey. My passion for photography began back when I was 16 and got my first "real" camera. I'm thankful to my friends for agreeing to be the subjects of my photos for a while. I continued on with it throughout high school and began taking photography courses.

​A few years after graduating high school I began studying photography at Savannah College of Art and Design. After some time I wanted to enter the professional world, so I moved on and started a job in the field. For the next year I was a professional newborn photographer working in the maternity unit at the hospital, taking photographs of one-day-old babies. All the meanwhile I was doing occasional freelance work as well.

When I left that job I tried out other careers, and photography became a hobby again for a while. Another couple years passed while I worked in other professions, but photography was always at the back of my mind. So, I came back and I've been able fit my passion back into work again.
